Charlotte

Originally from the UK, Charlotte now calls the rugged and wild coast of western Portugal her home.
Over a twenty-year period, yoga has woven itself into an integral part of Charlotte’s fabric of life.
Chanced upon in her late teens, the grounding physical practices of yogasana, connecting mind, body, and spirit, gave her a guiding anchor during life’s ups and downs.
Over the years, this curiosity evolved into a dedication to self-inquiry.
Studying under many teachers across different lineages, she draws predominantly from the schools of Vinyasa and Traditional Tantra through asana, meditation, mantra, and pranayama.
With a passion for self-discovery and well-being and a wish to share them with others, she has been qualified and teaching yoga since 2016 and became certified in Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (CHhA UK) in 2017. She has also studied both Prenatal yoga (50 hours) and Yin Yoga (50 hours).
The influence of a passion for music, singing, and dance and multiple travels to India all weave their way into her teachings.
Charlotte tries to lead her life through the principles of authenticity, kindness, and curiosity – embracing the empowerment and playfulness they can bring.
Her focus remains on the grounding practice of bringing us back to our physical bodies, finding our centered and authentic selves amidst the wildness of daily life in the modern world, and allowing room for both mental and spiritual expansion.
Ultimately with the goal of allowing us to act from a connected and truthful place towards all beings.

· My Anchor ·
Dance has always been my anchor.
In many forms – folklore, classical ballroom, jazz ballet, Latin dances – it was how I stayed connected to myself and to life.
Facing the Irish weather? Dance kept me cheerful.
Navigating career changes? Dance carried me through.
Travelling far & wild? It offered a shared language, a sense of belonging.
What began as passion slowly shaped the way I moved through the world.
· Return to Rhythm ·
Over time, though, something began to feel out of tune.
The constant push.
The pressure to adapt.
A life that looked right from the outside, yet demanded more and more from the inside.
I moved through high-speed environments, international roles, and meaningful projects. I challenged myself. I succeeded. And still, the dissonance grew.
I felt disconnected. Until my body intervened.
Burnout, divorce and a painful separation arrived not as failure, but as undeniable feedback. Something essential was asking to change.
· Turning Inward ·
Slowing down became unavoidable. And in that slowing, listening returned.
Nature re-entered my life as medicine. I swapped city life to coastal life. Movement shifted from expression to inquiry. Time on the yoga mat became a daily meeting with myself. Exploring the feminine body through Tao-tantric arts opened a deeper layer of knowing.
These practices helped me stay with myself – in the midst of uncertainty, unraveling, and reorientation.
· How I Support Women ·
Today, as a coach and facilitator, I guide women back to themselves – toward a way of living rooted in presence, self-trust, and embodied truth.
They reconnect with their inner wisdom, soften burnout patterns, and learn to lead from a place of coherence rather than force.
My work weaves coaching, somatic awareness, and embodiment practices – because real confidence isn’t something you think your way into. It’s something you feel, inhabit, and live.
If you’re ready to slow down, breathe again, and meet yourself more honestly, you’re in the right place.
